A gang of thieves masquerading as a theater group plans to kidnap Princess Garnet. To everyone's surprise, it turns out that the princess really wants to be kidnapped and goes along voluntarily - closely followed by Captain Steiner, who wants to protect her at all costs. On their journey, the group meets the young black magician Vivi and Quina Quen from the Q people. Together they uncover the secrets about the crystal and ultimately about their own origins.
